Healthy Low Fat Mac & Cheese

1 and 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni noodles.  You can use whole wheat, gluten free etc.

1 can Low-Fat Cheese Soup

1/2 can water

3/4 cup Low-Fat Milk

1/2 cup Low-Fat Cheddar  Cheese to sprinkle on top

salt and pepper to taste

Cook your noodles according to directions on package and drain.-

Return noodles to the pot and add milk, cheese soup and water.  Stir well and bring to a boil.  Once boiling lower heat and let simmer about 5 minutes or until thick and creamy.

Spoon into serving bowls, 1 cup per serving and top with cheddar cheese.  If you prefer a baked mac & cheese, spoon into oven safe bowls and put under broiler for a minute or two.  Watch carefully to ensure top doesn’t burn.  Enjoy.
